The interior design of Aksmar HQ is defined by craftsmanship, adaptability, and a seamless blend of work and leisure. Designed for a small, dynamic workplace, the space also serves as a venue for family and social gatherings on weekends and holidays, requiring a highly flexible and multifunctional layout.
Adaptive Interior Spaces
A key focus of the design was to create an interior that effortlessly transitions between professional and social functions. At the heart of this approach is an open bar and dining area, which serves as a meeting space during work hours and transforms into an entertainment hub for family and friends after hours. The adaptable nature of this space allows the owners to host informal gatherings without disrupting the workplace’s primary function, embodying a fluid work-life balance.
Wood Craftsmanship & Material Refinement
Wood remains central to shaping the identity of the interiors, introducing warmth, depth, and cohesion throughout the space. Custom architectural millwork and built-in furniture are carefully crafted to complement the geometric design language, creating a harmonious and visually structured environment. Through subtle detailing and precise craftsmanship, the material palette enhances both functionality and aesthetic continuity across the interiors.
Outdoor Living & Social Space
The adaptability of Aksmar HQ extends beyond the interiors into the landscape design. A custom-built concrete outdoor kitchen, equipped with both coal and gas BBQs, transforms the garden into a versatile social space. Additionally, a separate shed unit was introduced to provide comfortable outdoor seating, allowing the space to be enjoyed on pleasant days. These outdoor elements support a relaxed, communal atmosphere, making the headquarters as much a space for gathering as it is for working.
A Seamless Blend of Work & Leisure
By combining adaptive spatial planning, natural materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship, Aksmar HQ redefines the traditional office. It is a space where work and hospitality coexist effortlessly, reflecting the evolving needs of its users. The result is a highly flexible, warm, and welcoming environment that supports both professional productivity and social engagement—a place where design serves not just function, but lifestyle.
